Definition of Catechesis
Helping youth to develop a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and the Christian Community and increasing their knowledge of the core content of the Catholic faith. In other words, we try to help youth grow in their faith and their understanding of that faith on a deeper level. For example, Youth Night and ThE EDGE are catechetical by design, offering a variety of activities and events to help each young person grow in their awareness and deeper understanding of what it means to be a Catholic. We call it, "Cross-Training for the Soul."
