Definition of Advocacy
Taking a stand for youth and their families within the church and wider society. In other words, St. Joe Youth speak up for youth and their families when there and give them a voice in the community. For example, we have a representative on the parish pastoral council to voice the needs of youth to the parish leadership. What are some things you can do to be a better advocate for the needs of the youth and their families?
